Okay guys I am going try something a little new here. Everyone knows that when you vote you have to page staff to get your reward. The first four times you get voting gear and after that you get a 20K check. I know that in the grand scheme of things 20K is not a lot of gold and many of you don’t page for the check most of the time because you have found that you can make money much faster and easier by hunting.
I know that our player-base has dropped recently and that has affected our standings on the voting sites that we are listed on (fewer players equals fewer votes). Voting does not take long and it helps our player-base grow by leaps and bounds. We have seen that this really does work, at one point we were gaining 10+ new accounts per week. If we are not in the top 10 on at least half of the voting sites then we don’t gain new players since most people looking for a new UO home do not look past 10th place.
In an effort to help get us back in the limelight so to speak I am going to start a "Voting Pool". Here is how it will work:
Beginning March 1, 2011 I will start a new Vote Pool and it will restart the day votes are reset every month. I will check each of the 6 vote sites that we are listed on each morning when I log in and compare our standings to the previous day’s standings. For each day that we gain a spot on at least one of the vote sites I will deposit 100K into the Vote Pool. If we reach the top 10 on any vote site then the deposit will increase to 150K for that day. If we reach the top 5 on a site then the deposit will increase to 200K for that day. Though this does not sound like a lot of gold it can add up to a nice chunk of pocket change over a month’s time. Vote Pool checks will cap at 5 million and if we can hit the top 10 on half the sites and top 5 on the other half you guys can see 5 million gold checks every month!!
The day that the votes are reset I will place a check into the main characters bank box of all ACTIVE accounts equal to the amount in the Vote Pool, and a new Vote Pool will begin for the next months rankings. An active account is one that has a minimum of 25 hours of game time a month (this is less than an hour a day each month).
Make sure that you vote on all six sites every day to help our player-base and the Vote Pool grow. Even though you do have to log into the shard to be considered active you don't have to actually log into the shard in order to vote. Simply bookmark the shards homepage (here is a link) http://knightesroundtable.webs.com/ and vote from there.
JoinUO only allows one vote per 24 hour period from each IP but the other five sites we are listed on allow 2 votes per 24 hours from each IP. We ask that players DO NOT cheat by using bots or IP rotators in order to increase our votes. We want to our gains to be legal and a true representation of the shard and our great players.

I will try to update this daily but will not always be able to, so there will be gaps in the list but the deposits will still be made for the days that I miss (will be easy to figure as long as we dont lose ground/drop in rankings on any of the vote sites).
